After about a good twenty minutes with the game, I can honestly say that it leaves much to be desired, especially considering other options such as Audiosurf and Melody's Escape. Don't get me wrong, the concept and style are excellent, but it just isn't implemented in a way that feels very natural. Keeping with my honesty, I did go into this game with a grain of salt, and I wouldn't really reccomend this.. I can't complain too much since it's only 1 dollar. It's a simple game. You jump around and shoot things. It doesn't fit the music too well, but the visuals are neat. The song browser is annoying, though, since it puts all of your indexed songs in one list. Get the songs you want ready beforehand.As for difficulty, it is TOUGH. It seems easier than when I tried it in early access, but there's little room for mistakes. Didn't hit the glass in 1 or 2 shots? Say hello to die. Especially on the hardest difficulty where if you make a single mistake, you fail the song.Oh and also it has SEVENTY EIGHT ACHIEVEMENTS. I really wanted to like this game. I have a soft spot for games that let you add your own music, but this game didn’t do it for me. While the mechanics and controls are mostly spot on, the ones that aren’t spot on ruin the game for me. I am mainly talking about the shooting mechanic. I have no clue why the fire rate is inconsistent, but I guess it’s because the game wants to implement as many rhythm mechanics as possible, but out of all the ideas for gameplay elements based on rhythm, why is one of the things they thought of was the firing rate? It gets especially grating with the glass wall game mechanic where most of my deaths come from hitting a glass wall because my gun wouldn’t shoot.One other mechanic I greatly dislike is the difficulty. The game favors short songs while making long songs greatly difficult to go through. The player is given an option of one to five lives no matter what the song is. While going through a one minute song with five lives seems fair, going through a five to ten-minute song is a nightmare since there is a much greater chance the player will fail. And if the player fails, they have to start all over again or choose to continue without increasing the round’s score.Overall, while the game has decent controls and excellent graphics, there are some elements of the game that greatly influence my opinion enough to not recommend it. If you plan to buy this, there are better music player games worth your money.. One of the funnest games i have ever played very addicting gameplay very addicting music such a great game i recommend for anyone who wants to throw time away and jam to some music. I got a ton of fun out of this game, I play on insane because the rest are too easy in my opinion. Totally worth more than $0.99. Do not buy this game, the controls are too klunky and unresponsive. This game should be free and even then, it's not worth downloading on to your computer. Great news is that you can play your own music, unfortunately what's the point if you can't even play the game?. Game is cool only if u add songs which is hard if u don't know how to find the files. Doesn't accept anything else than mp3 files, too. 3.5\/10
